Governing Board

The Governing Board is comprised of parents, teachers, support staff, community reps. (if possible) and the principal.

Governing board elections take place at the annual general meeting (AGM) in September. Notice of the Annual General Meeting is communicated via ERMS and appears in the school calendar.

The Governing Board members are your representatives at the local school level, liaising with the School Board and government levels.

Immediate powers of the governing board are related to the school’s educational project/success plan, student supervision, rules of conduct, use of school premises, filed trips, activities, implementation of regulations, as well as a consultative body at the School Board and Ministry of Education levels.
